a.   Certification of Fund Balances

     Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6:20-2.13(e), we certify that as of December 31, 2007 after review of the Secretary’s monthly financial reports and upon consultation with the appropriate district officials, to the best of our knowledge no major account or fund has been over expended in violation of N.J.A.C. 6:20-2.13(b) and that sufficient funds were available to meet the district’s financial obligations for the fiscal year.

B-10    Emergency Chimney Repairs

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Glen Ridge Board of Education, as recommended by the Superintendent of Schools and pursuant to N.J.S. 18A:18A-7, ratifies the awarding of an emergency contract with DiFabio Construction Co., Inc. for the repair of two chimneys at Ridgewood Avenue School in the amount of $47,230.

Approve the attendance of Ken Rota and Winnie Boswell at the Skyward School Software National Conference being held in Dallas, TX from March 14-15, 2008 for a total cost of $1,384 per person ($799 registration & lodging plus $500 travel plus $85 meals).
