Flash Drive

These portable file storage devices are also known by other names such as:

• USB drives
• thumb drives
• travel drives

Flash drives come with different size memories, but for our purposes even the smallest available amount of memory will do. They can be purchased at most office supply stores such as Staples or  even at many chain stores such as Target and Costco. 1 GB flash drives are also available for $10.00 in the school library.

Flash drives are small and so easily lost or left behind. Be sure to somehow label yours so it can be returned to you.
