Developing a Conclusion
Regardless of your thesis, the final section on your outline will be a Conclusion. Exactly which Roman Numeral this will be depends on the number of other major sections in your outline. Number your Conclusion accordingly.
V II. Conclusion
A. Summary of evidence (sum up the main points that were presented in the body of your paper and support your thesis)
B. Thesis restated (you may use different words, but should make the same point)
C. Closing thoughts (draw inferences or conclusions of your own as to what this all means)
The above example gives you an idea of what types of information should be included in a Conclusion. Exactly what you write for A, B, C etc. and in which order you present these concepts depends on your individual thesis and is a personal choice.
