Ameristat
- A "one-stop source for U.S. population data" covering 13 subject
areas including Marriage & Family, Education, Migration, Income &
Poverty, and Mortality. Data provided in cealrly written text, charts,
and tables.
Bureau
of Labor Statistics - Up-to-date U.S. economic statistical information,
including the Consumer Price Index, the unemployment rate, and the Producer
Price Index. Especially useful is the Economy at a Glance section.
Individual state economic data can be obtained easily by clicking the state
on a color-coded map.
Polling
Report - An independent, nonpartisan resource on trends in American
public opinion. Subjects include Politics and Policy (President, Congress,
Issues, Elections), Business/Economy (Consumer confidence, Investing) and
American Scene (Sports, Hollywood, Work and play, Health). Information
t is updated whenever new polls are released.

and weather.
U.S.
Census Bureau - The place to go for quick access to U.S. demographic
information. The "State & County Quick Facts" link helps to easily
locate information such as education and income levels of a given state.
The "American Fact Finder" helps users to easily obtain particular information
by state, county, county subdivision, or even a general "place." In addition,
the entire Census site is keyword-searchable.
