Glen Ridge High School Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame

 

It is the mission of the Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame to recognize Glen Ridge High School graduates who have achieved outstanding accomplishments beyond the boundaries of Glen Ridge High School. These individuals have brought credit and honor to themselves and Glen Ridge High School through their achievements. The recognition of these people would not only honor them, but would also bring additional pride to the community and serve as an example for our younger citizens.

 

I.                    To be eligible for selection and induction into the Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame, each candidate must meet the following qualifications:

 

1.  The Glen Ridge High School alumni must have distinguished themselves through their achievements by:

 

a)      Making a significant and recognizable contribution to society of their profession

b)      Being recognized for outstanding performance in the arts, government or public service

c)      Advancing the cause of education, science or medicine through practice and/or research

d)      Being recognized for other outstanding achievement, accomplishment, contribution or act that has had a profound and positive effect.

 

2.  Candidates must be nominated on the official electronic nomination form, available at: https://glenridge.wufoo.com/forms/grhs-distinguished-alumni-hall-of-fame/

 

 

 

3. Support for the accomplishments of the candidate will come from personal opinions and documented evidence that will be submitted to the Glen Ridge High School Principal.

 

4. Candidate must have graduated at least 10 years prior to nomination.

 

5. Candidate must undergo a background review of candidates to assure the character of the individuals.

- Contributions to GRHS and its community.

 

 

III.       Selection Process

 

-         Open nominations will be received and reviewed by a selection committee comprised of GRHS Faculty, administration and community representatives.
