KNITTING- hobby, stress reliever, or both?

Have you ever wished you could knit or crochet like your grandmother? Would you like to learn the fundamentals of knitting or crocheting? Now's your chance to learn how! Get back to the basics with the hobby that's making a comeback: knitting & crocheting! This class will teach you the fundamentals of how to get started! Learn how to cast on, knit, purl, seed stitch, single crochet, double crochet, (etc.). Once you get comfortable with the basic stitches, we'll start you on one of three easy projects: a scarf (knitted or crocheted, your choice!), a granny-square baby blanket/afghan, or a poncho. Come join us for some good, old-fashioned fun!

Please bring size J crochet hook, or size 10 knitting needles to class. We will supply the "practice" yarn, as well as several patterns to choose from.
