WELCOME TO ENGLISH GRADE 7!

The summer is about to begin and much fun and relaxation is in store. Before you blink, it will be time to start preparing for the fall. In addition to your required summer reading and all the other books you will choose to read, I thought that you might want to know the materials you will need for this class.

A very important part of the learning process is coming to class prepared with completed assignments and required books and materials. Below is a list of what you will need to start the year off successfully:

• Black or dark blue pen
• Red pen
• Pencil with an eraser
• Assignment book
• Loose leaf lined paper
• Green spiral with four sections (grammar; vocabulary; literature; and miscellaneous)
• Glasses, if needed

Your spiral must be brought to class every day and should not contain information from any other subject. Once you are assigned texts, those will be covered (paper only, no socks!). More information will be presented as the year progresses.
