HONORS ALGEBRA ONE Mrs. McCarthy

Congratulations on being chosen to continue in the Honors Math program at Glen Ridge High School!! Algebra One is a fast paced and challenging course where you will meet advanced math concepts and often be asked to “think outside of the Box.”

In order to be sure that you are ready for the exciting year ahead, the following is a mandatory summer assignment, due on the FIRST DAY OF CLASS:

Reviewing Pre- Algebra skills: P. 3 # 1 – 28 & P.147 # 1 - 24

Reviewing the Language of Algebra: P. 39 # 1 -34 & P. 73 # 1 – 25

You will have a homework quiz on this assignment on the FIRST DAY OF CLASS, SEPTEMBER 8, 2009 so therefore be sure and bring your work and text book with you to class. No credit will be given for an assignment which does not show work for each of the problems. The content of this assignment is material that you have already covered in your Pre-Algebra Class.
