Biology Honors

Summer Assignment

The Biology Honors course is designed to prepare students who wish to take the AP Biology course in their Junior or Senior year.  Therefore, we will need to study more material, in greater detail than the typical College Prep Biology class and, naturally, we’ll move at a faster pace.  In order to cover the entire Honors Biology Curriculum, students are expected to deal with certain selected topics independently during the summer and during school vacations.  In September, after a very brief review of the assigned work and clarification of students’ questions, there will be a series of tests on the Ecology Unit.  The details of the assignment are below.  All work must be done in a Dedicated Biology 3 ring binder, and must be available for me to check on the first day of the 2008-2009 school year.
