will be mailed to all residents prior to the election. SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT HIGHLIGHTS: BUSINESSThe

Certified fund balances for December 31, 2006 and January 31, 2007. ·
Secretary’s reports through December 31, 2006 and January 31, 2007. ·
Treasurer of school moneys reports for December 2006 and January 2007. ·
Budget transfers for December 2006 and January 2007. ·
Bills list through February 28, 2007. The
Board approved the following business items: ·
The proposed 2007-2008 school year budget for review by the Essex
County Superintendent of Schools. ·
Home Instruction services, IDEA-B services for non-public school
students and Child Study Team services to be provided by the Essex County
Educational Services Commission for the 2007-2008 school year (if needed). ·
Stipulation of Agreement between the Glen Ridge ·
Out-of-district placement for student #17154 to attend the ·
Out-of-district placement for student #10153 to attend the Bloomfield
Middle School Vest Program for the remainder of the 2006-2007 school year. ·
Approved the submission of the 2007-2008 school district
budget to the voters on April 17, 2007 as follows: Budget General Fund $23,790,503 Special Revenue Fund $ 313,979 Debt Service Fund $ 946,435 TOTAL BASE BUDGET $25,050,917 Authorizing
Resolutions: Approved that there should be raised for taxes for the General Fund $22,076,813
for the ensuing school year 2007-2008, this resolution to appear on the
ballots of April 17, 2007. Approved that there should
be raised in taxes for Debt Service - Bonds Principal and Interest of $940,745
for the ensuing school year 2007-2008 this resolution not to appear on the ballots of April 17, 2007. Further, the Glen Ridge Board of Education, approved the appropriation
of additional fund balances on lines 1620 and 1630 per the advertised
recapitulation of balances for the following: Additional fund balance will be appropriated between February
1, 2007 and June 30, 2007 in the amount of $120,000 for unanticipated legal costs and special
education tuition on Line 1630 of the Advertised Recapitulation of Balances. This appropriation did
not reduce the general fund unreserved fund balance to fall below the 2
percent of the proposed budget year general fund appropriations. BOARD DOCUMENTATION The
