Medical leave of absence for Elissa Alberto, District Speech Language
Specialist, for the remainder of the school year. ·
Maternity leave of absence for Tia Gist, Physical Education
Teacher/Athletic Trainer, effective ·
Appointed Michele LaMotta as a leave replacement for Elissa Alberto. ·
Resignation of Marisa Thomas, Childcare Program Coordinator,
effective ·
Various substitutes, co-curricular advisors, sixth period assignment,
student worker, volunteers and new teacher mentor. CURRICULUM & INSTRUCTION The
Board of Education approved the following: ·
A one-on-one aide for a special education student attending the ·
Home instruction services for a high school student to be provided by
the Essex County Educational Services Commission. ·
Oral motor speech language and feeding service therapy for a special
education student to be provided by Creative Speech Solutions from DONATIONS The
Board of Education accepted, with thanks, the following generous donations: ·
A sound proof door and flooring for the general music rooms at the ·
$1,000 for the purchase of resuscitation dummies for the GRHS Health
Education Department from an anonymous ex-smoker.
