Message from the Superintendent:

The opening of school was fantastic. The buildings were all cleaned and polished and ready for the faculty, staff and students. The teachers set up their rooms and started with instruction right away.

The official groundbreaking ceremony for the additions and alterations to the High School took place on Tuesday, September 23, 2002. This week you should see fencing go up and machinery arrive to start the excavation of the site. If you have questions, please feel free to contact me at 973-429-8302 or visit our web-site www.glenridge.org for updates.

On November 4th at 7 pm, there will be a public presentation by a representative of the New Jersey School Boards Association on Strategic Planning. This year we will revisit our district’s strategic plan for an important update. The entire community is invited to the Glen Ridge High School cafeteria for this presentation.

On November 13th at 7 pm, the New Jersey Coalition for Equity Education Funding will be hosting an information meeting in the Ridgewood Avenue School Auditorium. This group is comprised of members of the Borough Council, the Glen Ridge Board of Education, and concerned citizens.
