BOARD GOALS 2023-2024


    • Conduct a successful superintendent search, with the goal of having a new superintendent in place by July 1, 2024
    • Conduct BOE “professional development initiatives, including an 'onboarding book' for new members”
    • Use Google Drive to post articles and experiences of interest to members
    • Hold mini-retreats at intervals during the school year to focus on issues in a more in-depth way than is possible during routine BOE meetings
    • Explore new avenues for outreach/communications, potentially including better publicity of second public comment period opportunities, reassessing “Coffee and Conversation” possibilities/locations, and have up to four members attend selected HSA meetings to take audience questions/comments
