AP Capstone Diploma Program

Glen Ridge High School is proud to announce the introduction of the AP Capstone Diploma Program!

Launched by the College Board in the fall of 2014, AP Capstone is an innovative diploma program that cultivates curious, independent, and collaborative scholars and prepares them to make logical, evidence-based decisions. It engages students in the rigorous scholarly practice of core academic skills to develop the independent research, collaborative teamwork, and communication skills that are increasingly valued by colleges and 21st-century workplaces. This program is widely recognized and supported by universities across the United States.

To earn the AP Capstone Diploma, students will be required to take a number of AP classes, including AP Seminar and Research. Currently, there are only thirty-one New Jersey Schools who have been approved by the College Board to offer the AP Capstone Program.

Glen Ridge High School will be offering the AP Seminar course starting next school year. More information on this program will be available during the course registration process in early spring. Please click on the links below to learn more about the AP Capstone Diploma Program.
