I hope that you had a happy, healthy summer and were able to enjoy some family time.  I want to start by wishing each of you a good school year for you and your children.  
The Student Services Department has a few new additions for this school year: 

  • Ms. Anastasia Ristova is our new case manager/School Psychologist at the Ridgewood Avenue School.  
  • Ms. Gina Duprey is our new case manager/Speech Therapist at the Ridgewood Avenue & Glen Ridge High Schools.  
  • Ms. Denise Kanal is our new Multilingual Learner Teacher for the district.

We will again have an evening parent workshop series this school year on various topics.  We will kick off the year with a virtual presentation on the evening of September 16th by Effective School Solutions on Building Capacity: Supporting Adults to Avoid Burnout and Enhance Well-Being.

Finally, the Glen Ridge Association for Special Education (GRASE) and the Glen Ridge Special Education Parent Advisory Committee will be meeting during the school year to support our parents.  If you are interested in learning more and getting involved, please see the attached flyers for more information about the organizations.
